Recently Included on the 92nd Oscars Shortlist for Best Animated Short Film, Pixar’s “Sparkshorts” film Kitbull, directed by Rosana Sullivan and produced by Kathryn Hendrickson, is about an unlikely connection that sparks between two creatures: a fiercely independent stray kitten and a pit bull. SparkShorts are a series of American independent animated short films produced by Pixar Animation Studios. It’s a program in which Pixar’s employees are given six months and limited budgets to develop animated short films that will be released on Pixar’s YouTube channel, before being subsequently released on Disney+.
