Arriving in theaters June 20, the animated action-comedy film KPop Demon Hunters brings an original story and musical experience to the big screen. The upcoming film from Sony Pictures Animation is produced by Michelle L.M. Wong, with Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans serving as co-directors. The duo also share screenplay credits with Danya Jimenez. Netflix recently released a trailer, building anticipation.


The cast bringing the K-pop stars to life includes Arden Cho, Ahn Hyo-seop, May Hong, Ji-young Yoo, Yunjin Kim, Joel Kim Booster, Liza Koshy, with Daniel Dae Kim, Ken Jeong and Byung Hun Lee. In addition, Ian Eisendrath serves as the executive music producer. Original songs have been made for the film by Danny Chung, IDO, Vince, KUSH, EJAE, Jenna Andrews, Stephen Kirk, Lindgren, Mark Sonnenblick, and Daniel Rojas. Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung of TWICE have lent their talents for an original song as well, setting the stage for a memorable experience.

Synopsis

Rumi, Mira, and Zoey are not your ordinary K-pop stars. The trio secretly doubles as powerful demon hunters, defending their followers from an ever-growing paranormal threat. But now, their most dangerous demon enemy takes center stage—disguised as a rival boy band.
