TRAILER: Isadora Moon Released January 2 From Max

On January 2nd, Max premiered its new fantasy-comedy series Isadora Moon, inspired by Harriet Muncaster’s best-selling book series. Brimming with whimsical charm, the show follows half-vampire, half-fairy Isadora Moon as she navigates human school and family life with her unique magical heritage.

Unlike other children her age, Isadora Moon has inherited magic from both worlds, encompassing the glittery magic of fairies and gothic powers of vampires. The series highlights themes of self-acceptance and the beauty it entails, making it relatable to a broader audience of children and families.
“Isadora Moon reminds us that feeling different is not just okay—it’s what makes us truly special. She may not fly as fast as other vampire children, or do magic as well as the fairy kids, but her unique blend of qualities is what sets her apart,” Said Muncaster, the author and illustrator of the Isadora Moon book series. Since its launch in 2016, more than 5 million copies have been sold worldwide, in over 42 languages. “Just like Isadora, we all have our own special magic within us. Embrace your individuality, for there is one thing you can do better than anyone else in the world: be yourself!”
Isadora Moon is more than just a story about a half-vampire, half-fairy girl; it’s a celebration of individuality and self-acceptance that resonates profoundly with children today,” Showrunner Deborah Thorpe from Kelebek Media added. “This series will transport audiences to fantastical new places. Like Harriet we hope to inspire children everywhere to feel comfortable and proud of being their authentic selves.”
Isadora Moon has a total of 12 episodes that are 22 minutes long, showcasing a range of talented voice actors that wonderfully capture the creative and fun essence of Isadora Moon and her friends. The series’ creative team seeks to stay faithful to the original books while providing new content for its audience.
Developed and produced by Kelebek Media, Isadora Moon is recommended for children 4 to 7 years old. As Sky Kids’ top-rated show in the UK, and airing in Italy, Sweden, Norway, Israel, and Canada, Max is the first U.S. streaming service to premiere Isadora Moon since January 2nd.
