On the rugged island of Berk, a place where Vikings and dragons have clashed for generations, Hiccup (Mason Thames; The Black Phone, For All Mankind) stands out as an unconventional young man. As the inventive yet underestimated son of Chief Stoick the Vast (Gerard Butler, returning to his iconic voice role from the animated series), Hiccup challenges deep-seated traditions when he forms an unlikely friendship with Toothless, a Night Fury dragon feared by all. This bond reveals a surprising truth about dragons, shaking the very core of Viking beliefs.

With the determined and spirited Astrid (BAFTA nominee Nico Parker; Dumbo, The Last of Us) and the eccentric blacksmith Gobber (Nick Frost; Shaun of the Dead, Snow White and the Huntsman) by his side, Hiccup faces a society gripped by fear and misunderstanding.

When a looming danger threatens both dragons and Vikings alike, Hiccup’s connection with Toothless becomes the cornerstone of a new vision for peace. Together, they must confront the challenges of their divided world, soaring beyond boundaries and redefining heroism and leadership.

The cast also features Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2), Gabriel Howell (Bodies), Bronwyn James (Wicked), Harry Trevaldwyn (Smothered), Ruth Codd (The Midnight Club), BAFTA nominee Peter Serafinowicz (Guardians of the Galaxy), and Murray McArthur (Game of Thrones).
