The upcoming reverse-isekai movie, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants To Be Loved, will be available for viewing on Monday, October 20th, 7PM local time at select theatres in the U.S. This one-night only special marks the beginning of Crunchyroll’s Anime Nights monthly program, with the next film showing set for November 17th, airing Overlord – 10th Anniversary Celebration.

The film takes place just after the end of season 2, with the lovable Kanna Kamui being pulled in two directions, forced to choose between her two families: Human or Dragon? Brought to audiences by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment, the film will be available to watch with Japanese audio and English subtitles.

Synopsis:

Their peaceful, settled life comes to an abrupt end when Kanna’s father Kamun Kamui forces her to return home to the Dragon World. A war hangs in the balance between Chaos and Harmony, just as Kanna hangs between friends and her father. Somehow, she has to unite the two worlds, but Miss Kobayashi won’t leave her to face this alone.
