
The LEGO Group, Netflix, and Tomorrow Studios are teaming up to bring fans the very first anime-inspired LEGO collection, featuring playsets based on Netflix’s ONE PIECE adaptation.
“This is a truly special collaboration. For the first time, LEGO play and the exciting world of anime meet. Building the world of ONE PIECE, as depicted in the Netflix live-action adaptation, in LEGO brick form has been such an exciting challenge and I couldn’t be more excited for fans to experience the new adventures this ONE PIECE collaboration will bring them for the first time,” commented Lena Dixen, LEGO Group’s Senior Vice President for Core Businesses. “Throughout this project with Netflix and Tomorrow Studios, it has been an exciting, collaborative process, and I think that shows in all the grand adventures we will begin to unveil soon.”

ONE PIECE, the legendary manga from Shonen Jump, follows Monkey D. Luffy as he ventures to become the King of Pirates. Luffy’s special ability to stretch his body like rubber gives him a unique edge in fights, allowing him to face enemy pirates and overcome any conflict he can’t simply talk himself out of. Luffy assembles the Straw Hat Pirates, an eccentric crew with his newfound friends Nami, Roronoa Zoro, Usopp and Sanji. Together they seek out the “One Piece,” a mysterious item left behind in the dangerous open waters.
The live-action adaptation based on Eiichiro Oda’s beloved manga reached Netflix’s Global Top 10 Shows for eight weeks, securing a #1 spot in 46 countries with a total of 71.6M views during its first four months of streaming. The series has been very well received among fans with a 95% Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes. Fans can look forward to the LEGO ONE PIECE collection reveal in the coming months, featuring the iconic crew taken straight from the show.
