Yesterday on July 17th, 2025, Netflix came out with new promotional materials for many of its animated series. Among the latest announcements on the new and returning titles, new pictures and updates were revealed for Long Story Short, Haunted Hotel, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, and Sakamoto Days.

Two of Netflix’s acclaimed science fantasies, Arcane season 2 and Love, Death + Robots volume 4, shared the Emmy spotlight as nominees for Outstanding Animated Program and Outstanding Sound Editing for an Animated Program. Maya Rudolph was nominated yet again for her Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance in Big Mouth, making her the most nominated woman in the category at 6 nominations.

Confirmed to be coming soon are Devil May Cry S2, Blue Eye Samurai S2, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. Next month, Fixed will debut on August 13th, joined by Mononoke The Movie: Chapter II – The Ashes of Rage on August 14th, and Long Story Short on August 22nd. Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch will be released heading into Fall, along with The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity on September 7th, Haunted Hotel on September 19th, and Pokémon Concierge during the same month. 

Finishing off 2025 strong, Record of Ragnarok III season 3 will premiere December 2025,  followed by Mating Season and Beastars: Final Season Part 2 in 2026. In the meantime, fans can enjoy the latest from Leviathan, Dan Da Dan, The Summer Hikaru Died, and Sakamoto Days readily available to stream.
