NEON has announced the English language voice cast of their French animated film Arco, which had its world premiere as a Special Screening at the Cannes Film Festival. A hit with critics and audiences, Arco won the Cristal Award for Best Feature Film and the Soundtrack Award at Annecy, the renowned animation festival. The English language voice cast features Will Ferrell, America Ferrera, Flea, Natalie Portman, Mark Ruffalo, and Andy Samberg. The film is directed by breakthrough filmmaker Ugo Bienvenu, making his feature debut, and produced by Remembers’ Bienvenu and Felix de Givry and mountainA’s Portman and Sophie Mas.

The English language version of the film, featuring the new cast, will make its world premiere in the Centerpiece section of the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7, 2025, and will be released theatrically in the U.S. on November 14th.

A magical and beautifully animated journey through time, Arco is a dazzling adventure about a 10-year-old boy from a peaceful, distant future who accidentally travels back to the year 2075 and discovers a world in peril. As Arco develops a charming and touching friendship with a young girl named Iris, they band together and along with her trusted robot caretaker Mikki, set out on a quest to get Arco home, while the two children may also be the only ones who can save our planet. A wondrous odyssey filled with hope and optimism for our future, Arco is an enchanting fable from breakout filmmaker Ugo Bienvenu, produced by Remembers’ Bienvenu and Felix de Givry, and mountainA’s Natalie Portman and Sophie Mas.

In Cannes this year, NEON earned its sixth consecutive Palme d’Or win with Jafar Panahi’s It Was Just an Accident. In addition to Arco, they also acquired North American rights to Jury Prize winner Sirât from Oliver Laxe; The Secret Agent from Best Director winner Kleber Mendonça Filho and starring Best Actor winner Wagner Moura; and the well-reviewed thriller Exit 8. Heading into Venice, Park Chan-wook’s No Other Choice, which NEON boarded earlier this year, will make its world premiere in Venice. In TIFF, NEON is presenting 9 films in Official Selection, including The Secret Agent, It Was Just an Accident, Sirât, Sentimental Value and Nirvana the Band the Show the Movie.
