Disney+ has released key art for Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules, as well as a new trailer. This all-new animated film is based on the second book in Jeff Kinney’s immensely popular book series. In addition, Can You Smell Us Now,, the original new song from the film,is also available. Written and produced by Jon Levine, with lyrics by Jeff Kinney, the new song is performed by Jimmy Tatro. The angsty, disaster-prone adventures of middle school student Greg Heffley continue in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules. This time around, the story is focused on his knotty relationship with his older brother, Rodrick. A spikey-haired high school student, Rodrick is lazy and chaotic, and spends most of his time playing music with his band, Löded Diper. While he enjoys torturing Greg, he has a strong affection for his younger brother deep-down. Directed by Luke Cormican (Teen Titans Go!)) and written/produced by Jeff Kinney, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules features the voice talents of Brady Noon T(The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers), Ethan William Childress (mixed-ish), Edward Asner (Up), Chris Diamantopoulos (Silicon Valley), Erica Cerra (Power Rangers), and Hunter Dillon (Deadpool 2).
