The Creative Talent Network (CTN), a leading advocate for animation talent and the broader creative industries, along with its nonprofit branch, the CTN Foundation, proudly unveils the International Creative Exchange Program (ICEP). This exciting initiative will officially debut during the CTN eXpo 2024, taking place November 21–24, 2024, in Burbank, California.
Anchored by the CTN Foundation’s mission, “No Artist Left Behind,” CTN eXpo transforms Burbank’s Animation Week into a dynamic hub where creators from around the world—ranging from industry veterans to emerging talent—come together to celebrate, recharge, and reignite their passion for storytelling. This year marks the 16th annual CTN Expo.
ICEP’s International Exchange Debut
As part of ICEP’s inaugural exchange, 20 students from South Korea will visit Burbank for the first time to showcase their work and participate in the 2024 CTN Expo. These students will experience full access to the event, connecting with world-renowned artists, animators, and industry professionals through interactive workshops, presentations, and showcases.
This initiative follows the program’s initial phase in June 2024, where six CTN members traveled to Seoul, South Korea, to study at Chung Kang College of Cultural Industries’ CK Animation School under the mentorship of master animator Mike Nguyen. This cultural and creative immersion enabled participants to refine their skills in character animation, storytelling, and filmmaking.
ICEP is designed to provide a global learning platform, fostering creative and cultural exchanges between students and educators worldwide. Future exchanges are already planned, with countries like Italy and Hungary on the horizon.
“I’m thrilled and incredibly proud to announce this exciting new opportunity for students and
Professionals,” said Tina Price, founder of CTN. “This exceptional exchange program embodies our CTN and CTN Foundation mission of ‘No Artist Left Behind’. It is a meaningful step forward in building bridges that foster idea-sharing between professionals and students, benefiting everyone involved.”
“I’m absolutely overwhelmed with gratitude for being given an opportunity like this. It is life-
changing for me,” said French Student Ramya Hegde, scholarship recipient/ICEP Korea Program.“CTN has grown once more, no longer just a fabulous annual industry gathering but now a non-profit foundation to care for, and nurture our creative community through the ‘No Artist Left Behind’ initiative,” said Max Howard, Film Producer and Studio Executive. “Tina Price’s contribution to our industry is unprecedented. A shining star to be acknowledged and supported, I’m going to be first in line to add my name and invite each and every one of you to join me,” he continued.
