At the recent CCXP, hosted in São Paulo, Brazil, Crunchyroll made many unforgettable memories with fans, presented exclusive trailers, messages from cast members, historic performances, and hosted new arrivals, all live on the Thunder Stage. Among the exciting events and personalities onstage, Crunchyroll’s specialty was on full display as the latest in anime was announced. 

For upcoming new content, comedy takes center stage with Tamon’s B-Side, Kujima: Why Sing, When You Can Warble?, and Bungo Stray Dogs WAN! 2 entering early 2026 on Crunchyroll. Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun also earns its fourth season early next year, while the non-comedies Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None and The Drops of God round out the new coming batch.

Returning and popular series like Jujutsu Kaisen treated fans to a sneak peek of the highly anticipated season 3, animated by the beloved MAPPA studio, with a never before seen preview of fan-favourite Noaya Zenin. For fans of Dr. Stone, the series’ Japanese director and producer detailed the real-life beginnings of the mysterious petrification central to the show, and how its origins tie into Brazil, rounding out the show’s lore-drop with the Brazilian voice for Senku performing a live dub just for CCXP. 

My Hero Academia’s long run since 2016 ended December 13th with season 8’s final episode, and for CCXP 2025, video messages from the Japanese cast were shared, reminiscing on all the support and heartfelt passion from fans. The Brazilian voices for Deku and All Might entered the Thunder Stage for a resounding send-off to their iconic characters.

In celebration of Brazilian dubbing, Crunchyroll gathered the most Brazilian anime voice actors to ever appear on stage. Voice actors from varying generations took turns speaking on their different roles and all the special work that goes into Brazil-Portuguese dubbing. Fans familiar with these voices from their childhood got to see a photo montage showcasing the cast’s own childhood, creating both a nostalgic and inspiring experience. The immense amount of talent and effort compressed into almost 400 hours of cumulative dubbing over decades of passion was emphasized for this momentous celebration.
