Sad news has reached us via colleague Kara Vallow – animator Eric Fredrickson, age 54, passed away suddenly at his home in Los Angeles, California on the weekend of November 27th, 2016.
Born May 22, 1962, the Canadian born thoroughly enjoyed a lengthy career in animation. Eric worked as a storyboard artist on many TV shows and movies including Teddy Ruxpin, James Bond Jr., and Family Guy. A legend in his field, he spent the last 12 years bringing humor and life to all the characters he boarded on the animated series, American Dad. He loved his trips to Canada to be with his family and could always be found with a book in his hand and a story to tell. He was a member of Faith Center Church in Glendale, California.
Eric is survived by his parents, Rosamond and John Fredrickson, and his siblings, Lisanne Evelyn and Lars Fredrickson. He will be deeply missed by his co-workers, friends, and family.
