Studio A-CAT has revealed a new trailer for the upcoming season 2 premiere of The Beginning After the End, as well as a new teaser visual for Arthur Leywin’s continued new life in Dicathen. Save the date for the Crunchyroll hosted premiere on April 1st, and for those who need to catch up, season 1 is also available on Crunchyroll for binge watching.

The latest trailer shows some upcoming scenes of Arthur and Jasmine Flamesworth’s quests battling monsters, and introduces new characters with new voice actors. Brald, Vio, and Samantha join in season 2, voiced by Ryota Oska, Yumiri Hanamori, and Moe Nagumuta respectively. An upcoming dangerous foe is also revealed, a deadly S-class mana beast that the duo will have to face. The trailer also reveals a short clip of the new opening theme song for the season composed by SIX LOUNGE, “Sayonara Janai Hō ga Ii,” or “It Would Be Better If We Don’t Have to Say Goodbye.”

The Beginning After the End is adapted from the hit Tapas comic of the same name by TurtleMe. With Keitaro Montaga serving as the director, series composition by Takamitsu Kono, character design by Masami Sueoka, and music by Keiji Inai, season 2 has been put together by a talented production team.

Synopsis

King Grey dies an unexplained death and is reborn as “Arthur Leywin” in the magic-filled land of Dicathen as a baby. In this new life, he seeks to correct for his past and grow from who he used to be, as he learns magic and finds a new path to follow. Now in season 2, as an adventurer alongside Jasmine, their questing experience attracts the attention of an AA-ranked adventurer, who leads them to a mystifying and dangerous new threat.
