Synopsis
Ryo Saeba, the City Hunter, is considered the number one “sweeper” in Shinjuku. Alongside his partner, Kaori Makimura, he handles a wide range of clients. Most recently, they’ve taken on a case from Angie, a filmmaker who simply wants to find her lost cat. While Ryo is captivated by Angie’s beauty, Kaori is more motivated by the heavy reward. Meanwhile, Metropolitan Police officer Saeko Nogami is investigating a new super-soldier drug, Angel Dust, developed by the shady biotech company Zoltech. This dangerous substance happens to be the same one that nearly ruined Ryo—and ultimately killed his previous partner, Hideyuki. As the seemingly unrelated cases unfold, the truth behind it all begins to emerge.
